Fay Spain’s Spouse and Past Relationships

Fay Spain was married four times over her lifetime, which resulted in her having four husbands. On January 27, 1952, she initially married author and actor John Falvo; on January 6, 1958, they divorced. Their only child, Jock, was born in 1954. According to a November 1958 news source, Spain was too young to be a patron in Reno casinos when she worked as a full-fledged dealer at the craps tables at 17.

She told the AP Newspaper that she and her husband left the East because they felt their behavior there was unacceptable. Afterward, Fay moved to the West and started working as dealers. She said,

“I got a job as a dealer and lied about my age—and made a ton of money, far more than my shill spouse, she alleged.”

After six months of employment, the two had earned enough money to work in Hollywood. The pair did, however, finally split in 1958. After splitting from Spain, Falvo married actress Nancy Hadley on February 6, 1959; they had three children together. Nevertheless, they did get a divorce in December 1971. In addition, he died from lung cancer in Los Angeles, California, on April 4, 1990.

Spain’s Cause of Death

Fay passed away from lymphatic cancer. She died in Los Angeles on May 8, 1983, at 50. In addition, her family buried her bones in the West Klickitat Cemetery District No. 1 in White Salmon, Klickitat County, Washington.
